Please read these Terms of Sale (“Agreement”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before making a purchase through https://www.Harakekeflorist.co.nz (“the Site”, “Website”) operated by Harakeke Florist Ltd(“us”, “we”, or “our”). HARAKEKE FLORIST IS A NEW ZEALAND OWNED AND OPERATED BUSINESS.


All prices quoted on our website are in New Zealand dollars (NZD). If you make a purchase using a credit card it will be charged in NZD. All purchases include GST tax 15%.


We deliver flowers through out Christchurch. Our flowers are always fresh, fragrant and beautiful. We will attempt to match as closely as possible the flowers displayed on the website with flowers that are in season. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your order, contact the team at Harakeke Florist immediately to discuss how we can help. The photos displayed on the website are just a guide only.


If you are not home we will leave flowers at a location specified by you or at your front door.

If your delivery address does not have somewhere we can leave the flowers we will attempt to contact you by any means of contact you have given us i.e: text, phone call and/or email. We will do our absolute best to get your flowers to you that day after making contact. Please ensure the recipients name and full address are included when making your order.

Same day delivery available on orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday to residential and 11am to work address and rural areas.

Rural delivery $28 or Rural 2 is $35 We will attempt to contact you to arrange for the extra payment  If we cannot contact you we will deduct the amount from the total amount paid.

 If we can not contact you and there is nowhere to leave the flowers (as in the case for apartment deliveries or locked gates etc ) we will unfortunately need to pass on the $15 courier fee charge to redeliver after hours or the following day. Alternatively,  If you would like, you can pick the flowers up from our store in Sumner. 

Any order placed using the free delivery code Merivale or Sumner must be in the correct suburbs. Any order placed using that code for an address outside of Merivale, St Albans and Strowan, Sumner, Redcliffs and Mt Pleasant will have to pay the Christchurch delivery fee of $15.

It is your responsibility to contact us in response to our attempts to contact you for redelivery/pick up of your flowers. The fee for redelivery will be charged to your credit card.

Any orders placed for delivery on a public holiday will be delivered the following day. And orders placed on Sunday will be delivered on Monday  


We take great care and pride to ensure our flowers are of the highest quality. If in the rare occurrence you receive a damaged or unsatisfactory goods please contact us immediately via email info@harakekeflorist.co.nz or telephone 03 3669545. We will provide replacement flowers.

We do not refund our Homewares or Giftware for  change of mind. We will only issue a refund if the product is faulty. We do not offer a refund if you place an order for same day delivery after the cut off time of 2pm.  WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS OR EXCHANGE EARRINGS FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY REASONS.

Please note that if you request a refund when your purchase is processed with Afterpay we will deduct the Afterpay fees of $10 from your order.

Any cancelation of orders requested by the customer will result in a $10 cancelation fee or 2.5% of the purchase price (whichever is greater) to cover our Shopify fees.

There is a cancellation fee of $10 if you order flowers for delivery outside of our delivery area. 


Harakeke will except exchanges up to 14 days after the purchase date. Please note we will only exchange item's that have all the tags and correct packaging. We will only accept exchange full price items. This does not include fresh flowers or plants.


 By purchasing from Harakeke Florist you agree to be automatically added to our (e-mail) mailing-list. You can unsubscribe at any point using the link in our newsletter or mailing list emails – you can also unsubscribe by e-mailing us at info@harakekeflorist.co.nz with “unsubscribe” as the subject header.


 When you use the Website to purchase any products you will be required to provide certain information. You agree and warrant that:

 (a) You will not use any false identities or personas and must provide us with your full legal name and current details;

(b) All information provided by you will be true and correct in all respects at the time it is given;

(c) You are responsible for ensuring that all information which is necessary to process any uncompleted sale transaction is kept up to date at all times, and will provide details of any changes to Harakeke Florist.

 CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions by posting the updated terms on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.

Please review this Agreement periodically for changes. If you do not agree to any of this Agreement or any changes to this Agreement, do not use, access or continue to access the Site or discontinue any use of the Site immediately.
